Knowing me, knowing you

Knowing me, knowing you

Whenever God wants to do something spectacular in someone’s life, he brings him in contact with necessary people that will release the necessary information. The information they gather will then lead them to an unexpected altitude, most of the time people call it chance meeting, but they are divine designs of the Almighty God. I pray that God will remove irrelevant people from your life and bring in relevant people and helpers of destiny. You will also become relevant to other people’s lives in Jesus name.

David had always been shut out and forgotten in the bush tending to sheep, but when it was time for David’s enthronement, God stirred up a divine situation. Saul’s servant made a divine suggestion that created vacancy in King Saul’s palace and recommended David. Where this person saw David with all these qualities he highlighted only God knows. 1 Sam 16:14-23. In 2 Kings 5:1-4, 14-15, war broke out between Syria and Israel. One of the war prisoners was a maid to the wife of Syria’s chief of army staff, Namaan. Namaan had an incurable disease-leprosy; little did he know that the maid in his house would be the contact person for his healing. She knew a prophet in Israel who could cure Namaan of his leprosy; Prophet Elisha. Namaan received complete healing through the ‘misfortune’ and divine relocation of the maid. I am sure the girl did not remain a maid after that encounter.

In Gen 41:1-14, a 17 year old Israeli teenager – Joseph was kidnapped by his brothers, sold to Egyptian traders and later became a slave to Vice President of Egypt. He was falsely accused of raping his master’s wife and was thrown into prison. He met with other prisoners, two of whom Joseph interpreted their dreams. One of them, the Kings barman/cup bearer, was restored to his position in the Kings palace after completing his jail term, the other was executed. The barman later became Joseph’s contact person to the Kings palace. Two years later, the King had a troubling dream and needed someone to interpret it, the Kings bar man recommended Joseph and that became a turning point in Joseph’s life-He later became the prime minister in Egypt.

1 Sam 30:1-18 David lost his wives, children and properties to a raid conducted by some armed bandits. An abandoned, dying Egyptian slave was his contact person to recovering all his loss. David gave the boy water and bread to revive him. The slave in turn told him where to look for his lost goods and family. You are advised to treat the people you meet on your way down nicely; they may be the hand that will pull you up tomorrow. In this season of favour, your destiny helpers will locate you. May the Lord stir up situations that will enable you meet them and when you do, you will recognise them in Jesus name. Please work hard to be good to everyone you come across; they might be your destiny helper.
