After these things the Word of the LORD came to Abram (me) in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram (me) I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward” (Gen 15:1). I often wonder the reason(s) why Christians are not the most prosperous people here on earth. This is perhaps we in Zion think that just because we have given our lives to Jesus there is nothing else we need to do, once save always saved is not true.

It is therefore important to remember that the Person of Jesus will take us to heaven and the principles of Jesus in the good book will prosper us here on earth. We are required to embellish our faith with good works and obey God’s Word. The bible declares in Isaiah 1:19 if my people are willing and obedient they will eat the good of the land (UK and the ends of the earth).

It is thus necessary to also take into cognisance the Word of God in James 2:24-26 which tells us that faith alone will not deliver the goods but indeed genuine faith will enable you and I produce the required works in order to access the blessings. Some example of those who were able to apprehend their blessings include Rahab, David or Abraham just to mention a few and these examples should further encourage us to work for the Master. Jesus says to you and I in Heb 6:10 that our labour of love will not be forgotten.

It is time to discern what’s on God’s mind so that we see clearly the blessings for us in God’s hand. I am very happy to announce to you in this 4th year anniversary of Harvest Centre that we will experience new and great rewards as the theme says. So get ready for exceedingly great new blessing which will surpass our asking and imagination in Jesus name, Amen (Eph 3:20).
