But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions (Obadiah 1:17).

The issues and challenges of life has the address of man and unlike men, it does not discriminate. It does not choose its recipients by colour, weight, creed or even intellectual standing. As long as man is on this earth, challenges at one point will come calling. However, Jesus has promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us in the journey of life(Matt 28:20) and when the burden is too heavy, He will take us and place us on His shoulders.

However, there is a pre-requisite, which is we must be holy to have access to the deliverance that the Lord is offering. Interestingly, man can fathom paying the price for a university degree, man can understand the sacrifices for an Olympic medal. However, when it somes to the things of God we want an easy ride. We do not want to be prayerful, fast or attend prayer meetings. But only through holiness can we possess our possessions. So please flee from every appearance of sin and pay the price. The Lord will help us in Jesus name. AMEN
